Position: Technical Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are a fast growing Managed Service Provider with some of the leading Global Enterprises/Telecom Service Providers as our clients. We are in the process of  expanding our India Operations  and looking for experienced and committed  Network/System Engineers  to be part of our Support Team

  • BE /BSc /Diploma engineers with minimum 3 to 5 years of experience into Network and System Support
  • Very good  Understanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting of Network Connectivity
  • Experience with routers, switches and security devices
  • If experienced in routing and switching the candidate should possess skills in the areas of troubleshooting enterprise networks with the following technologies
    • Routing – Static routes, EIGRP, BGP and OSPF
    • Switching – STP, UDLD, ARP,  VTP,  EtherChannels
    • IP Addressing & Subnetting
    • WAN – MPLS, SDN circuits and interface related issues such as QoS, errors, discards, etc
    • Firewall , Access list , Stateful Inspection, NAT
    • VPN, Tunneling
  • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and process is required
  • Strong research, investigation and evaluation skills, with a structured approach to problem solving
  • Very good Understanding of Server technologies, Server OS, Database & Applications
  • Experience with Windows Server OS, Linux.
  • Experience in supporting Vmware , Storage etc
  • Good knowledge on DNS, DHCP, Filesystems etc
  • Effective skills and experience analyzing technology behaviour and issue resolution
  • Liaise with TAC, vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution-ability to work and effectively prioritize in a highly dynamic work environment that includes a global focus
  • Experience using Trouble-ticketing tools such as Servicenow/remedy for  handling trouble tickets

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and should be a team player
  • Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Strong technology background is required
  • Aptitude to acquire new technology and concepts quickly
  • Ready to work on rotational shifts (24×7)
