Position: Sr. AWS Engineer – Microsoft Track

Job Summary:

Looking for Senior AWS Engineers with expertise in Design, Implementation and Migration of Microsoft Technologies into AWS Platform

This is a hands-on role for a senior level person. Working independently and collaboratively with the rest of the team, you’ll be responsible for helping architect, orchestrate, and automate our AWS deployment.

The candidate should have good knowledge of AWS operating as Windows platform (like IIS, Windows Server, SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, Skype for Business, Microsoft Dynamics products, System Center, BizTalk, and Remote Desktop Services).

The candidate should know the nuances of migrating a Windows on-premises Application or Services to AWS

• Design , Implement and Migrate Microsoft Customer Environment to AWS
• Hands-on Experience in AWS products /services such as   EC2, S3, ELB, EBS, EFS, CloudFront, RDS and Route53 amongst others
• Proactively seek out opportunities to improve monitoring and alerting of our hosts and services, and implement them in a timely fashion
• Code scripts and tools to collect and visualize metrics from Microsoft hosts and  applications
• Enhance and maintain our logs collection, processing and visualization infrastructure
• Automate systems configuration by writing policies and modules for configuration management tools
• Write both frontend (html/css/js) and backend code (Python, Ruby, Clojure…)

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Extensive experience in working in Microsoft Technologies
• Thorough Knowledge in Active Directory/DNS/ Microsoft SQL etcc
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science/Data Science or equivalent is required
• 5 to 6 years of hands-on relevant AWS experience is required
• Highly technical and analytical with current solution architecture (implementation/consulting) experience
• DNS, TCP/IP, Routing, HA & Load Balancing
• Configuration management using tools like CFEngine, Puppet or Chef
• Exposure to Migration tools like – racemi or cloudendure
• Apache Hadoop
• SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and HBase
• Enterprise application and database architecture a plus
• Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies highly desired
• Design & implementation of transformations for clients

Other Requirements:

• Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
• Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
• Strong technology background is required
• Aptitude to acquire new technology and concepts quickly
